My name is Miles, and I am creating this blog to document my gender transition. Yep, that’s right, I was born a girl. Not only that, but I have lived as a “girl” for over nineteen years. Now, finally, I am embarking on my gender transition, and I would like to share my story with you. If there is one thing my mother has taught me that I’ll never forget, it’s that you can make almost anything into an awesome art project, and so here is my gender-transition-female-to-male-I’m-kind-of-nervous-but-here-goes-nothing art extravaganza.

With this project my goal is to educate those who know little or nothing about transgenderism (I didn't even know anything about it less than a year ago), dispel negative myths regarding transgender people (because there are a lot of them, and knowledge is power), and to help out gender-questioning/ genderqueer/ transgender humans who are embarking on journeys similar to my own (because we need to stick together, you know?)
